Doctors are calling stress the Black Plague of our century...

According to Harvard Medical School stress is an epidemic that is responsible for 90% of all doctors visits. It can negatively impact your relationships and your ability to perform at the top of your game. It's become so widespread that we all accept it as "normal" to have insomnia, digestive issues and chronic anxiety.

Spending just 2% of your day on meditation can transform your health.

Exercise not only makes you physically healthier, but mentally too!

When we exercise we feel more positive, confident, and motivated.

Exercise is the #1 way to reduce stress!

And when we raise our heart-rate with our partner at the gym, it also helps facilitate cardio in the bedroom.

Walking daily with your partner is a great activity that duals as quality time.

Exercise has not only been shown to enhance sexual function, but also to be an effective treatment for depression and anxiety.

We all know that diet is an important aspect of our physical and mental health. Try eating organic fruits and vegetables with every meal to get in those nutrients that make us look and feel our best.

Cooking dinner together and/or eating together is another way to get in quality time with your partner!

Without enough quality sleep every aspect of your health and your daily functioning is affected.

Sleep impacts weight, memory, learning, metabolism, mood, immunity, cardiovascular health, appetite, concentration, productivity, depression, relationships, etc.

Try the Calm app to help quiet the mind when trying to sleep.

-Try not to interrupt when the other person is speaking, let them finish

-Reflect back what you heard, this will let you know if what you heard is what your partner was trying to say and will allow the other person to feel heard/understood

-Share your perspective and feelings in a way that will not put your partner on the defensive

Connection Tips

-Be present and in the moment, when your partner is speaking, give them your full attention

-Show affection in a way your partner will feel loved, for some that is touch and for others it is an act of kindness

-Have time without electronics, either over dinner, in the bedroom, or on a walk
